Upwelling Zones
While researching Upwelling Zones I discovered that there is a wide variety of species that live in this specific zone. Since an Upwelling Zone is a wind-driven motion of the water that is nutrient rich towards the surface, it can be one of the best ecosystems for animals to feed in. For this project I chose to do an invertebrate. The invertebrate I have chosen is the octopus. While researching this zone and all the animals that can be found existing in it I found that is can be a great place for octopi to find nutrients.
